Accepted abstracts can be presented as a printed poster at the venue or as an e-poster. Your acceptance email confirms the format, size and deadlines for your conference.
Content
- Use the same title and authors as your accepted abstract.
- Structure the poster clearly: background, objective, methods, results and conclusion.
- Prefer figures and tables to long paragraphs, and make the key finding easy to spot.
- Include your email address or a QR code so delegates can contact you.
Printed posters
- Print the poster yourself and bring it to the conference.
- Put it up at the time given in the program and take it down at the end of the session.
- Stand by your poster during your poster session to discuss your work.
E-posters
- Prepare the e-poster as a single-page PDF.
- Upload it by the deadline in your acceptance email.
- Check that all text is readable on a screen without zooming.
