Withdrawal Policy

How authors, speakers and delegates can withdraw from a conference.

This policy explains how to withdraw an abstract, a talk or a registration from a Medires conference.

Withdrawing an abstract

  • You can withdraw an abstract yourself from your Author portal while it is submitted, under review or awaiting your revision.
  • Once a decision has been made (accepted, rejected or published), contact us through the Contact page to withdraw it, quoting the abstract reference.
  • If an accepted abstract is withdrawn, it is removed from the conference program. An abstract already published in the proceedings may not be removable.

Withdrawing a speaker application or talk

  • You can withdraw a pending speaker application yourself from your Speaker portal.
  • If you are a confirmed speaker and can no longer take part, tell us as early as possible through the Contact page so the session can be rearranged. You may suggest a co-author or colleague to present in your place; the organising committee decides whether the change is possible.

Withdrawing a registration

  • An unpaid registration can be cancelled from My Tickets in your Attendee portal.
  • To withdraw a paid registration, send a written request through the Contact page with your ticket reference. Refunds follow the Refund Policy.
  • Withdrawing an abstract or talk does not cancel your registration. If you no longer wish to attend, request a registration withdrawal as well.

Certificates

Certificates are issued only to delegates and presenters who took part in the conference.
